After Donald Trump’s historic and triumphant victory over Kamala Harris, Ben Kentish spoke to two guests on what Labour can take from the US election, if the party is to remain in government for more than one term, unlike the Democrats.

Political commentator and strategist Charlie Downes says that there is an increase in younger people supporting right wing parties in Europe.

Andrew Hedges, Editor of the Red Pepper Magazine, states the risks of Keir Starmer ‘trying to create growth with much less investment than Joe Biden’, telling, Ben Kentish that ‘trickle-down economic approach didn’t work electorally or economically for working people’ in the US.
